Julia Mannion is an accomplished professional and graduate of FIDM University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and Creative Industry Studies.  Julia has extensive work experience in entertainment markets and hospitality, as well as a prior professional background in cake design.  With a keen eye for composition, color, and layout, as well as a strong understanding of fabrication industry and materials, Julia would be a strong asset to any client in need.  Considering her multifaceted design related expertise, Julia upholds a unique and inspiring perspective as well as an eagerness for learning and implementing new ideas in tandem with existing knowledge. 

Julia possesses a number of technical skills, including proficiency in technical drawing and the use of computer-aided design and drafting software, AutoCAD as well as 3D modeling and design software, Sketchup.  She is also experienced in Building Information Modeling software, Revit in addition to real-time rendering and virtual reality software such as Enscape and V-Ray.  She is skilled and capable of creating and following workflow patterns using drawing sets, technical drawings and 3D models interchangeably between varying software.  Julia is also proficient in many Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dimension and Bridge and adept in using these applications harmoniously with the previously mentioned software.  Juila has ample knowledge in areas such as textile science, color theory, perspective sketching, basics of architecture, sustainable design, residential and commercial design concepts, and ergonomics.
